In the middle of the Brainport region, Marc is busy every day with his passion and love for flavorful products.
As a chef and port lover, Marc is constantly looking for special products with a story, for himself, for his guests and for everyone who wants to enjoy all that deliciousness with him.
Marc: “It is so special that after years of dreaming I now have my own port in my hands. The Brainport is the result of my desire and knowledge and the expertise, unsurpassed taste and quality of Oscar and his family. It is a true ‘port for pioneers’: it is great that we have gone through this wonderful making process together.”
Together with Oscar, Marc went exploring in the Douro Valley. In this beautiful valley, Oscar and his family have been producing port wines with tremendous love and respect for generations. Marc and Oscar meet and immediately there is a connection. The respect for each other as experts in his field, Marc as chef and Oscar as winemaker.
Important spearheads for Brainport include knowledge and cooperation; sharing knowledge and using each other’s expertise. Nobody would have dared to dream that these two values would flow together into such a wonderful product.
